This has been another difficult week, and much of our viewing this episode centered on similarly dark and thorny topics. We kick off the podcast with Our Week in TV, starting with the premiere of HBO’s docuseries The Vow, which centers on the dangerous cult NXIVM. Then we lighten things up with the premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue and Kate’s catchup with Glow Up seasons one and two. Noel has thoughts on Dorohedoro, then we move back to darker topics with Lovecraft Country and the finale of Infinity Train Book 3. Afterward, we head to the DVD Shelf for an extended conversation about Michaela Coel’s challenging and compelling look at sexual assault, I May Destroy You. Take a listen, then reach out with your thoughts on Coel’s latest series, as well as the other viewing you’ve been making time for.

It’s Make-You-Watchathon time! Noel and Kate ring out the end of the ninth year of the podcast with our annual tradition, with each host picking a show to make the other watch.
