It’s finale-palooza at the Televerse! This week, Noel and Kate spotlight the finales and recent seasons of The CW’s Arrowverse series: Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. How have the seasons shaped up, and what’s ahead in next season’s Crisis on Infinite Earths mega-crossover? Before that, though there’s a full week of TV to discuss. First are the comedies. Kate checks in with the black-ish finale, then Noel catches up with Better Things season three, and Kate gives her thoughts on the latest The Last O.G. Next up is reality, with Noel talking The Amazing Race and the return of the Head-to-Head and Kate’s take on the RuPaul’s Drag Race reunion. Last, we round out the week with drama and genre, including the Elementary premiere, the Game of Thrones finale, and the return of Darkwing Duck on DuckTales.

Game of Thrones aired its climactic, penultimate episode this week and well, Kate had thoughts. As Noel gave up on the series back in season one, Kate invited on Clint Worthington of The Spool and friend of the show Allison Shoemaker for a special bonus episode of The Televerse. Allison, Clint, and Kate break down the good, the bad, and the ugly of Game of Thrones’ most divisive episode in years, diving right in, and still somehow barely scratching the surface 40 minutes later.
Note: Usually we keep things PG here at The Televerse, but given the subject matter, we didn’t bother bleeping the F-bombs this time. If you’re mature enough to watch Game of Thrones, we figure you likely won’t mind some mild profanity.
Music Featured: “Game of Goats”
